Teens and Young Adults
At our Comprehensive Plan Kick-off Celebration in September 2016 we had activities for kids to learn about planning and give us their ideas about the future.
We created a coloring book with pictures representing each of Duluth's neighborhoods. You can download and print your own copy of Color Me Duluth!
Throughout the spring of 2017 we're working with Neighborhood Youth Services (NYS), Life House, and local middle and high schools to hold focus groups and conduct a survey specifically for young people. We want to better understand what young people in our community want for their futures and the future of Duluth. The video below gives an overview of our planning process and asks young people to take our survey.
Almost 150 youth participated in the survey and about 50 additional youth participated in focus groups. View the findings and summary from our youth outreach.
