Get Involved

The comprehensive plan process will provide several opportunities for residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to help shape the plan and outcomes. This is important and integral to the development that the community embraces and believes in. Check out media coverage about the planning process and some of our previous events. Here are some ways that you can still get involved:

 

Attend a focus group:

We are holding focus groups on five overarching topics: Transportation, Housing, Economic Development, Open Space, and Energy & Conservation. Focus groups consist of invited technical and community experts as well as any members of the public who wish to attend. Meeting agendas, summaries, and other materials discussed at focus groups meetings will be available online.

Imagine Duluth is on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and is a great way to stay updated, share information and thoughts, and spread the word to your family and friends on how they can get involved.

Attend a Social Engagement Session:

These sessions will be held throughout the process in all areas of the city. It will be a chance to review the plan as it is developed, share your views, and discuss solutions to issues in Duluth.

When: November 2016 - May 2017

Throughout the summer Community Planning staff attended events and gatherings all over the city to engage in discussions with our community and ask people to share their opinions by taking our survey.
